This school started using the CarRider Pro system in October of the 2012 school year. Within two days of starting it up, they were able to reduce their overall dismissal time by over 50% and significantly improved the traffic congestion around the school. They chose to assemble their riders in classrooms nearest the dismissal exit and required the attending staff to utilize hand held devices to organize the riders into dismissal groups. Their daily dismissal process releases around 200 students to approximately 90 vehicles in less than 15 minutes.

Emma B. Ward Elementary School

Emma B. Ward Elementary

This was the first school to install the CarRider Pro system. It was installed in October 2011, and it was an immediate success. They are dismissing around 150 riders to approximately 100 vehicles in 12 minutes on a daily basis. They assemble their riders in the gymnasium and utilize a large overhead projection screen to display the CarRider Pro information. They found that by allowing the students to see the live information, they would begin organizing themselves into dismissal groups which helped expedite the entire dismissal process.
